I LOVE these dyed, hand-crafted papers. I use them when I have a very special letter to write and want my words to stand out to the recipient. As well, I've given them as gifts (with the envelopes) to people who value writing and words. Some handmade papers have "bumps" and mess with your ink; not these. The writing surface is smooth and one's pen simply rolls across the paper. As a retired, picky English teacher, I HIGHLY recommend!!
