I write a lot of letters and notes. The cards and envelopes in this set are beautifully crafted; it always makes me feel good to use such finely made paper. As well, the pen stand sits proudly on my desk (who can't use another container for pens?!). The notebook is a perfect size for travel, and the lovely box now holds other pieces of my finer stationary (also purchased from Ecological Market). Beautiful paper for something special

I LOVE these dyed, hand-crafted papers. I use them when I have a very special letter to write and want my words to stand out to the recipient. As well, I've given them as gifts (with the envelopes) to people who value writing and words. Some handmade papers have "bumps" and mess with your ink; not these. The writing surface is smooth and one's pen simply rolls across the paper. As a retired, picky English teacher, I HIGHLY recommend!!
